Hey people! 4th of July was a cool one for me, despite work. I got up at 10 so we could go do the grocery shopping before our barbecue in the afternoon, and then I went to work at 1:30. It was a lot slower than I thought it'd be, not to mention pretty fun.

Kindra, Kate and I had almost nothing to do (even recovery was essentially pointless) so we made patriotic balloon bouquets to sell and make some extra money. I don't remember how many we made, but there were 3 left so me, Kate and Kindra each took one and at 6:30 we were on our merry way.

I hopped into the pool (of course) when I got home, and swam until about 8. Then I got dressed, ate and watched TV for a bit. At 10 we went over to my grandpa's house to light off the fireworks. It was fun... except for when I burned my thumb.

Just to reassure you, it was a very tiny burn. I was lighting a sparkler for one of the kids and the lighter flame grazed my thumb. I kept it under cold water for 10 minutes, but you can still see the white spot on my thumb where the blister's starting to form.

We didn't get home until about midnight, and when we did I spent the rest of the night on the computer like I usually do. Today I had to work again, and it was somewhat crazy. I was really irritated with the fact that I still have water in my ear that doesn't seem to want to come out, but otherwise it wasn't too bad. Except for the part where the turner on the door lock broke... but we won't go into that lol.

Tomorrow I have off, so I'll probably be swimming for a while. Otherwise, I'll just do whatever I think of when the time comes, which will probably be to get on the computer lol.
